At the beginning of the 2nd half of the 1990's, the insufficient supply of quality services in the area of Facility management (technical management of buildings) made PBW Czech Republic s.r.o (former Real CDC Praha s.r.o.) to set up its own company providing services, the quality and wide offer of which would satisfy its high requirements. It invited the French company engaging in facility management, Eurogem SA from the group Icade Groupe, to join it, and in 1998, they established together the company Praha Facilities Management, akciová společnost (PFM a.s.).
PFM, a.s. provides services that comprise all aspects of property maintenance, including HVAC, electric wiring, sanitary facilities, welding, construction work, painting, etc. Its primary task is to secure a safe and healthy working environment for all tenants, as well as the general public, in a manner that takes the costs spent and energy consumed into the account as much as possible. The employees of PFM, a.s. work directly on site and take care of the day-to-day operational needs of the buildings, and perform the preventive maintenance of all its fundamental systems. Some large-scale repairs and works focused on improvement of the facility quality can be provided through contracts with external companies.
At present, PFM performs the facility management of more than 65.000 sq. m. of office and business centres in the Czech Republic, like e.g. the administrative-business centre Myslbek, administrative building IBC, and Office Park Nové Butovice.
PFM a.s. offers particularly the following services:
